Michael Badalucco has won an Emmy for his role on ABC's The Practice.  He has starred in Spike Lee's Summer of Sam, the Coen Brother's O Brother Where Art Thou? and is working on another project with them.  Michael resides in New York where his stage credits include Waiting for the Dough, Of Mice and Men and Lorca's The Love of Don Perlimplin for Berlisa in His Garden.

Lee Batchler has taught seminars on writing and the film industry for USC Film School, UC San Diego, Biola University, the Scriptwriter's Network, Women in Film and the Writer's Connection.  With his wife and writing partner, Janet Scott Batchler, Lee 's feature credits include the international blockbuster Batman Forever for Warner Bros. and the upcoming action-adventure Smoke and Mirrors which will star Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Cecilia Gonzalez-Andrieu is a writer/producer and theologian most recently working on two children's television series, the new book Presente!  US Latino Catholics from Colonial Times to the Present, and researching and translating recently discovered works by the great playwright Federico Garcia Lorca.  Cecilia was 1999 Chair of CAFF and has served on the festival's executive committee for six years.

John Lee Hancock was born in Longview, Texas and graduated from Baylor University with a B.A. in English and J.D. from Baylor University Law School.  His feature screenwriting credits include The Little Things, A Perfect World, and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.  He co-produced the sleeper hit, My Dog Skip.  He is the creator and executive producer of CBS's LA Doctors and Falcone.

Nicolosi is the Director of Act One: Writing for Hollywood, an educational program sponsored by Inter-Mission to train screenwriters from the Christian community for mainstream entertainment industry careers.  Miss Nicolosi is a screenwriter, monthly media columnist, and frequent speaker at writer's conferences.

Sr. Rose Pacatte, fsp, is the founding Director of the Pauline Center for Media Studies in Boston. She teaches media/film studies to adolescents, parents, teachers and clergy.  Sr. Rose has an M.A. in Education in Media Studies from the University of London, UK.  She is a founding member of Cine & Media (USA affiliate of O.C.I.C.), a member of the executive committee of Unda-USA, the national Catholic association for communicators, a member of the Religious Communications Council and the Catholic Press Association.

Dr. Thom Parham is Associate Professor of Radio-TV-Film for Biola University's Department of Communications.  Dr. Thom Parham has an MA in Dramatic Communication, and a PhD in Communication Studies from Regent University.  He has written episodes of JAG (CBS) and the sitcom Big Brother Jake (The Family Channel). 

Charlie Peters is a successful screenwriter whose feature credits include Three Men and a Little Lady, and Her Alibi.

Dr. William D. Romanowski is Professor of Communications Arts and Sciences at Calvin College, in Grand Rapids, MI.   He is an internationally recognized expert on the entertainment media, and the author of the award-winning InterVarsity Press title, Pop Culture Wars: Religion and the Role of Entertainment in American Life.

Barry Taylor found God while working on AC/DC's Highway to Hell tour.  He is currently completing his Ph.D. in Postmodern Studies at Fuller Seminary.  Songs from his album Love Songs for the Underdogs, are featured in Agnieszka Holland's The Third Miracle.  He also scored the Bui brothers upcoming release Green Dragon.  He leads Santucary in Santa Monica and thinks Austin Powers has deep theological meaning. 

Rev. Rebecca Ver Straten-McSparran graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with an M.Div, and is Associate Minister of Membership, Outreach and Christian Education at First Congregational Church of Los Angeles.  She designs and leads courses on film and art and is of the Lloyd C. Douglas Film Awards and Seminar.  Rebecca is on the Board of Directors of Reel Spirituality, and on the advisory board of Neighbors Who Care, a seminary program on ministering to victims of violence and trauma.
