Marymount University Department of Theological Studies and School of Film
& Television Two areas of study at LMU come together to sponsor
this year's festival: the Department of Theological Studies prepares students
for careers in ministry and scholarship in an environment of great intellectual
dynamism, ecumenical dialogue and constant prayerful witness in the Jesuit
tradition. The School of Film and Television forms the new generations
of filmmakers, well-schooled in the crafts of film and television, and

Inter-Mission is an interdenominational network of Christian professionals in the entertainment industry. With offices in Los Angeles, New York and Minneapolis, Inter-Mission seeks to equip believers so that they can positively impact culture through entertainment. Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship. With their motto: "Growing in love for a lifetime", InterVarsity is a national organization whose mission is to establish and advance at colleges and universities communities of students and faculty who support each other in their Christian faith. InterVarsity welcomes people of every ethnicity and culture to be witnesses of God's purposes in the world.
The Windhover Forum is an educational forum focusing on arts, media and Catholic spirituality. Sanctuary is
a West Side Christian worship community for entertainment industry professionals.

Fuller
Theological Seminary is the largest seminary in North America, and
includes graduate schools of Theology, Psychology and World Mission at
its main campus in Pasadena, CA. The evangelical and multi-denominational
academic community prepares men and women from more than 80 countries for
ministry, mission and mental health careers. Fuller was the founding
organization of the festival. 
Family
Theater Productions was founded in 1947 by Fr. Patrick Peyton, CSC.
This unique media ministry has received over fifty international awards
for its radio, television and film productions. Known globally for
its motto "The family that prays together stays together," Family Theater,
a ministry of the Congregation of Holy Cross, is dedicated to enhance and
empower families through radio, film and television. 
United
States Catholic Conference/National Conference of Catholic Bishops Office
for Film and Broadcasting produces weekly movie reviews which address
the moral as well as artistic considerations of individual films.
Capsule movie reviews can be accessed on the USCC/NCCB website, and each
week new movies and a selected family video are described on the toll-free
phone line, 800 311-4222. The Office's capsule reviews from 1966-99 are
available in book form in ``The Family Guide to Movies and Videos'' published
by Our Sunday Visitor Books. 
Catholics
in Media Associates supports and encourages Catholic professionals
who work in the entertainment industry. Since 1992, CIMA has given
recognition to those in the industry whose work has affirmed the highest
standards of the Judeo-Christian tradition. CIMA members write articles,
movie reviews and annually present entertainment industry achievement awards. 
Open
Call is an organization under the auspices of Paulist Productions.
Through programs and activities, Open Call seeks to connect and inform
people of the Christian faith within the entertainment industry.
Focolare
is
an international movement geared toward fostering unity among peoples.
“Whoever attempts to shift the mountains of indifference, hatred and violence
in today’s world faces a huge and heavy task. But what is beyond
the strength of a million isolated and separate individuals appears possible
to those who have made reciprocal love, mutual understanding and unity
the motivating force of their lives.” (From a 1996 address to

Reel
Spirituality is an international gathering of writers, directors, pastors
and other church leaders that convenes annually to discuss their common
vocation as "culture makers." Reel Spirituality focusses on images,
particularly as they relate to issues of spirituality. This pairing
of leaders from Hollywood and the church is a positive step towards bridge-building
between two culturally influential communities.
Cine
& Media
is a professional organization of people involved in some
dimension of the film world who seek to explore the connection between
movie entertainment and the spiritual core of the human condition.
C&M is a meeting point of filmmakers, educators, and theologians.
It is people who love films and believe that encouragement of the best
in film can help raise the general level of culture. C&M sponsors dialogue
through scholarly symposia, media education, and film festival participation.

One: Writing for Hollywood is an interdenominational program to train
committed Christians for mainstream careers as screenwriters. The
program stresses professionalism, artistry, ethics and a personal relationship
with Christ. 
Unda-USA,
the National Catholic Association for Communicators, brings together persons
who are working to communicate gospel values through today's powerful electronic
media. Our annual General Assembly provides opportunities for professional
development, spiritual renewal and social contacts. With our sponsorship
of the Gabriel Awards, we honor commercial and religious broadcasters and
producers who provide programming that serves viewers and listeners through
the positive, creative treatment of concerns to humankind. 
Tribe
is
a unique church of Christian iconoclasts, visual artists, musicians and
filmmakers, dedicated to integrating the arts and worship through a circle
of African drums, Celtic strains, Gregorian chant and visual art.

FM 88.1 "America's Jazz Station" is a 24-hour public, member-supported
jazz, blues and information station serving Los Angeles and Orange Counties,

States and the only public radio station in Los Angeles dedicated to the
presentation and promotion of all genres of jazz including mainstream,
