| Del Reisman
is a former president of the Writers Guild of America. Del
was a writer in the "golden age" of television, and story editor of illustrious
shows such as Playhouse 90 and Rod Serling's Twilight Zone.
A World War Two veteran, he serves on the National Film Preservation Board
and teaches at the American Film Institute.
Pamela Douglas
is an award winning writer and a professor at the USC School of Cinema-TV.
She has won the Humanitas Prize as well as awards and nominations from
the Television Academy, the Writers' Guild and American Women in Radio
and Television. She created the acclaimed series Ghostwriters
and has written for outstanding tv shows such as A Year in the Life,
Frank's Place and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Ellen Sandler
is a writer, director and producer with extensive experience in theater,
film and television. Her theater credits include work at the Mark
Taper Forum, Joseph Papp's New York Public Theater and the Streisand Center.
She was the producer of the successful tv series Everyone Loves Raymond
and Coach. She has received numerous awards and nominations
including several Dramalogue awards and an Emmy nomination.
Eric Nazarian
is a graduate of the USC School of Cinema who is currently working on several
projects including a screenplay base on his experience as a photojournalist
in Nagorno-Karabakh, and a documentary on the origins of rock-and-roll
in collaboration with the legendary singer, Eric Burdon. Born in
Armenia, Eric immigrated to the US at the age of five, and much of his
creative work concerns the effects of war and conflict on children.
Ron Austin
(Moderator) is a veteran writer/producer in film and television.
He is a member of the Motion Picture Academy, the Directors Guild and has
been twice honored by the Writers Guild for his service to writers and
the community. He has taught at the USC film school and the American
Film Institute. |
