Conventional wisdom says most comedy is based on the pain of others. We think it has more to do with self recognition: It's a mirror that distorts our perception to expand our self understanding and remind us of our human-ness. And it's an anitdote to sadness, self-pity and other spiritual toxins. Can reverence and comedy coexist? Should they? Let's find out!
