Our festival is really a coalition of supporting organizations brought together to produce these events.  This list represents that coalition.  Additionally, the City of the Angels Film Festival benefits from the generousity of several corporate sponsors.

Catholics in Media Associates supports and encourages Catholic professionals who work in the entertainment industry.  Since 1992, CIMA has given recognition to those in the industry whose work has affirmed the highest standards of the Judeo-Christian tradition.  CIMA members write articles, movie reviews and annually present entertainment industry achievement awards.

Cine & Media is a professional organization of people involved in some dimension of the film world who seek to explore the connection between movie entertainment and the spiritual core of the human condition.  C&M is a meeting point of filmmakers, educators, and theologians.  It is people who love films and believe that encouragement of the best in film can help raise the general level of culture. C&M sponsors dialogue through scholarly symposia, media education, and film festival participation.  http://www.ocic.org

Family Theater Productions was founded in 1947 by Fr. Patrick Peyton, CSC.  This unique media ministry has received over fifty international awards for its radio, television and film productions.  Known globally for its motto "The family that prays together stays together," Family Theater, a ministry of the Congregation of Holy Cross, is dedicated to enhance and empower families through radio, film and television.  http://www.familytheater.org

Focolare is an international movement geared toward fostering unity among peoples.  “Whoever attempts to shift the mountains of indifference, hatred and violence in today’s world faces a huge and heavy task.  But what is beyond the strength of a million isolated and separate individuals appears possible to those who have made reciprocal love, mutual understanding and unity the motivating force of their lives.”  (From a 1996 address to a UN symposium by Chiara Lubich, foundress of Focolare) http://www.focolare.org

Fuller Theological Seminary is the largest seminary in North America, and includes graduate schools of Theology, Psychology and World Mission at its main campus in Pasadena, CA.  The evangelical and multi-denominational academic community prepares men and women from more than 80 countries for ministry, mission and mental health careers.  Fuller was the founding organization of the festival.

The Lloyd C. Douglas Committee of the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles was created in 1996 to celebrate spiritual themes in feature-length films.  Each year, a panel of judges representing both the film industry and the ministries of five different faiths present the Spiritual Quest Award to a film released that year which best depicts themes of spiritual renewal, transformation, and redemptive message. 

Odyssey, A Henson and Hallmark Entertainment Network, is a 24-hour program service that provides high quality and informant programs for today's family to an audience of 28 million subscribers. In November 1998, Hallmark and Henson partnered with Odyssey's existing owners Liberty Media and NICC (National Interfaith Cable Coalition).  All of these creative forces present a program mix committed to high quality (The Muppet Show, The Collection, from the Hallmark Hall of Fame), meaningful and spiritually (The Daily Mass, Landmarks of Faith) significant entertainment.

Open Call is an organization under the auspices of Paulist Productions.  Through programs and activities, Open Call seeks to connect and inform people of the Christian faith within the entertainment industry.

Premise is a multi-denominational fellowship of Christian professionals in film and television now in its seventeenth year.  The group includes those individuals in the industry who specifically impact project content, including directors, writers, producers, editors, agents, attorneys and managers.  Through prayer and mutual support, monthly meetings and seminars, Premise encourages its members to strive for excellence as professionals, as artists and as believers. 

Reel Spirituality is an international gathering of writers, directors, pastors and other church leaders that convenes annually to discuss their common vocation as "culture makers."  Reel Spirituality focusses on images, particularly as they relate to issues of spirituality.  This pairing of leaders from Hollywood and the church is a positive step towards bridge-building between two culturally influential communities.
