TIMING OF DONATIONS The donation of a Primary or Participating Sponsor must be pledged in writing to the CAFF no later than April 30 of a given year. It is understood that different sponsors have unique circumstances effecting the timing of their donations, however, the CAFF must receive full payment of all monetary donations at least one week prior to the festival opening night of any given year. FILM / THEME SELECTION The initial selection of the screening roster and the festival theme will be generated by the Executive Committee which will, within the first three months of each year, present proposed screening rosters and corresponding themes to the Board of Directors. The final selection of one of the Executive Committee's proposed themes, will be made by a majority of the Board of Directors. Each film on the final CAFF screening roster will be chosen by a majority of the Board members. No Board member or sponsoring organization will have the authority to veto a film selection so approved by a majority of the Board of Directors. In the case of a deadlock among the Board of Directors, the final authority regarding the inclusion or exclusion of a particular film will rest with the Executive Committee. COMMITTEES Listed below are the ongoing Committees which shall exist toward the implementation of the CAFF. Given that the CAFF is an all-volunteer effort, sponsoring organizations are encouraged to take part in the further implementation of the festival by having representatives of their organizations volunteer to serve on the following committees: (1) Event Production
/ Box Office
Ad Hoc Committees will be formed as deemed necessary. |
